Christian Bastin has over 25 years of work experience in the software engineering and project management field. Christian started their career at SA BULL NV as a Software Engineer, working on integration projects between GCOS8 Mainframe Bull and other applications. Christian developed gateway IP/DSA using Java and C and received training in various competencies related to GCOS8.

In 2001, Christian joined Sopra Steria as a Technical Project Manager, where they managed projects and teams to successfully deliver on client requirements. Christian then progressed to the role of Java Team Lead and Scrum Master - Architect, working on a project for the ministry of finance and other countries. Christian was responsible for creating an application for managing international exchange of information, specifically VAT refund on goods purchase and information exchanges on companies and traders.

Overall, Christian Bastin has gained extensive experience in software engineering, project management, and leadership roles throughout their career.

Christian Bastin earned a degree in Electro-mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Robotics (Production & Automation) from the University of Liège, where they studied from 1986 to 1992. In addition to their formal education, Christian has obtained various certifications, including Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Spring Professional, TOGAF 9 Foundation, and CSM - Certified Scrum Master.
