Ilya Margulis is an experienced engineer specializing in digital signal processing and system architecture with a robust background in wireless communication technologies. Currently serving as DSP Team Leader for 5G PHY at Sony Semicon since November 2022, Ilya has previously contributed to Habana Labs as an AI System Architect focusing on deep learning network architecture. Prior roles include Senior Staff Engineer at Qualcomm, where involvement spanned NR-U project design and base-band signal processor architecture for LTE, along with leadership positions at Samsung Electronics in mobile imaging solutions and Broadcom in digital video technology. Ilya's extensive experience encompasses algorithm development, firmware implementation, and telecommunications, backed by education from Technion and Tel Aviv University.
