Laura Larson has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Laura currently works as a Software Developer at Sony Interactive Entertainment. Prior to this, they were an Independent Stylist at Salon Filament. Laura also has experience as an SDE Intern at Amazon Web Services (AWS) and in administrative roles at Starfish Consulting. Additionally, they worked as a Stylist at Oasis Spa & Salon and as a Server/Expo/Carside at Applebee's. Earlier in their career, Laura gained customer service and sales experience as a Sales Floor Associate at Kohl's Department Stores and as a Teacher at the Institute of Reading Development. Laura also has retail experience from their role as an Assistant at the University of Puget Sound Bookstore.

Laura Larson completed their Master's degree in Computer Science from Seattle University between 2019 and 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Graduate Certificate in Computer Science Fundamentals from the same university in 2018. In the same year, Laura also studied Computer Science at North Seattle, although the degree obtained is unknown. Earlier, Laura pursued a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Puget Sound from 2009 to 2013, with a focus on Theatre/Theater, History, and Music. Additionally, they acquired a Cosmetology Certification from the Gary Manuel Aveda Institute in 2015 and received a Cosmetology certification from the State of Washington in July 2015.
