Eva Woo has a diverse range of work experience. Eva started their career in 2012 as a Researcher at Harvey Mudd College, where they explored alternatives for synthesizing Erythrophloin C, a natural anti-tubercular compound. Eva also worked as a Research Assistant at the Ferré/Marquet Vaccine Research Center, conducting research on plant-based vaccines for lumpy-skin disease. Eva then joined the Botswana-Harvard AIDS Institute as a Nurse's Assistant, assisting in a medical study on the effects of cotrimoxazole on HIV-negative infants with HIV-positive mothers.

Afterwards, Eva returned to Harvey Mudd College as a Researcher, investigating the effectiveness of various chimeric tRNA - miRNA mimics for HIV-1 RNAi gene therapy. Eva compared the efficiencies of miRNA mimics and analogous shRNAs for targeting HIV genes. Eva also worked as a Tutor at Upward Bound, providing academic support to students.

In 2014, Eva joined John McNeil & Co., Inc. as a Support Scientist, where they likely provided scientific assistance and support. Eva'smost recent role was as a Software Engineer at Sony Interactive Entertainment, where they worked on the product security automation team. Eva designed and delivered customized features for a centralized vulnerability management dashboard, developed REST APIs for global integration of security into the development pipeline, and spearheaded the migration of an application from AngularJS to React.js. Eva also evaluated and integrated application security vendors and tools, collaborated with product managers and engineers to implement security solutions, and ensured high levels of quality through extensive testing and code reviews.

Eva Woo attended Harvey Mudd College from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Biology. In 2013, they also briefly studied at Pitzer College as part of the Pitzer in Botswana program. No degree was specified for their time at Pitzer College.
