Eva Woo has a diverse range of work experience. Eva started their career in 2012 as a Researcher at Harvey Mudd College, where they explored alternatives for synthesizing Erythrophloin C, a natural anti-tubercular compound. Eva also worked as a Research Assistant at the Ferré/Marquet Vaccine Research Center, conducting research on plant-based vaccines for lumpy-skin disease. Eva then joined the Botswana-Harvard AIDS Institute as a Nurse's Assistant, assisting in a medical study on the effects of cotrimoxazole on HIV-negative infants with HIV-positive mothers.

Afterwards, Eva returned to Harvey Mudd College as a Researcher, investigating the effectiveness of various chimeric tRNA - miRNA mimics for HIV-1 RNAi gene therapy.
