Carlos V. has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Carlos currently holds the position of Principal Software Engineer at Sony Interactive Entertainment, beginning in July 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Technical Director and Principal Architect at Charles Schwab from January 2022 to June 2023.

Carlos also served as the Principal DevOps Architect at Entisys360 from December 2020 to December 2021. Carlos worked as a Lead Engineer at Ticketmaster from July 2015 to October 2020. Before that, they were the DevOps Manager at NIMBOXX, Inc. from April 2014 to February 2015 and a Sr. Linux Systems Engineer at RenewData, an LDiscovery Company from July 2013 to April 2014.

Carlos has also held roles at Proactive Communications, where they worked as the Director of Network Operations from January 2011 to July 2013, Systems Engineer III from August 2007 to January 2011, and Systems Engineer from August 2005 to August 2007.

Additionally, Carlos worked as a Technical Instructor at New Horizons Computer Learning Centers from April 2003 to August 2005 and as an Applications Instructor from May 2001 to April 2003. Carlos began their career at Chapman University as a Help Desk Technician and Junior Graphic Designer from September 1997 to May 2001.

Carlos V earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Art from Chapman University, where they attended from 1997 to 2001. Carlos later pursued a Master of Science degree in Management from Regis University, completing their studies from 2006 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, Carlos has obtained several certifications, including the Professional Cloud Architect certification from Google in December 2021 and the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services in September 2020. Carlos also holds various certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, Red Hat, CompTIA, and the Certified Internet Webmaster organization. Some of their Microsoft certifications include the MCT - Microsoft Certified Trainer and the MCSA - Windows Server 2012, both obtained in 2004 and 2013, respectively. Carlos' educational background is diverse, encompassing both arts and management, and they have further enhanced their skills and knowledge through numerous certifications in cloud computing, networking, and IT support.
