Marty Pignone has extensive leadership experience in the manufacturing and operations sectors, currently serving as the VP of the Primary Materials Group at Sonoco since January 2001, overseeing North American business units with annual sales exceeding $700 million. Prior roles at Sonoco include VP of Global Operations Support, Global Operating Excellence, Global Industrial Manufacturing, and VP Paper North America, where responsibilities spanned procurement, supply chain management, and operational excellence across multiple product lines. Before joining Sonoco, Marty held the position of Director of Manufacturing at Eastman Kodak Company, managing production across international facilities, and spent nearly two decades at General Electric in various manufacturing and operational roles. Marty holds a BS in Business from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
