Sharon Hon is a seasoned technical operations director with extensive experience in laboratory management and operations. Currently serving at Sonic Healthcare since 2022, Sharon is responsible for the planning, design, development, and implementation of a new pathology laboratory, showcasing expertise across various disciplines including Hematology, Coagulation, and Microbiology. Prior experience includes a role as site operations director at LabCorp from 2013 to 2022, where oversight encompassed site operations and quality compliance. As a laboratory manager, Sharon successfully established the Flow Cytometry lab in Phoenix, delivering results within budget and on an aggressive timeline. Earlier career achievements include a position as operations manager and medical technologist at Sonora Quest Laboratories from 1995 to 2013. Sharon holds a post-graduate degree in Clinical Laboratory Science from the University of Arizona and a bachelor's degree in Microbiology from Northern Arizona University.
