Lia Prendergast has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Starting in 2008, they served as the Business Manager for Trinity News. Lia then worked as a Legal & Regulatory Executive at Digicel in 2009. In 2010, they interned at Arthur Cox and KPMG in banking and corporate finance and transaction services, respectively. From 2012 to 2013, Lia worked as an Associate Strategy Consultant at PwC London, focusing on commercial due diligence and corporate strategy projects. In 2013, they joined Tesco as a Group Strategy Associate, collaborating on board-level strategic projects. In 2015, Lia pursued an MBA at Harvard Business School, where they participated in various clubs and took on leadership roles, including Director of Sponsorship for the Retail & Luxury Goods Conference. Lia also worked as a Rock Summer Fellow during their studies. Lia then worked as a Group Strategy Manager at McArthurGlen Group from 2017 to 2019, where their responsibilities included strategic planning and project management. Currently, they hold positions at Sonder Inc., including Interim General Manager, UK, Managing Director, Real Estate - EMEA, and General Manager, UK & Ireland. Lia'sexperience ranges from sales and product sourcing at Classic Furniture to strategic planning, operational improvement, and growth opportunity appraisal in real estate and hospitality sectors.

Lia Prendergast's education history began in 2001 at Alexandra College in Milltown, Dublin, where they completed their secondary education. From 2007 to 2011, they attended Trinity College Dublin and obtained an LL.B. (Ling. Franc.) (Hons) degree in Law and French. In 2009 and 2010, Lia studied at Université Panthéon Assas (Paris II) as part of an Erasmus program, focusing on French Law. In 2011, they pursued further legal education by completing the FE-1 Examinations at Law Society FE-1s. Lia'shighest level of education is a Master of Business Administration (MBA), which they earned from Harvard Business School between 2015 and 2017.
