Tyler Smith has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. In 2012, they began their career at Kmart Australia Limited as a Casual Employee, where they worked until 2019. In 2018, they joined Scholastic as a Pick Packer, and remained there until 2020. From 2020 to 2022, Tyler worked as a Communications Officer at the NSW Government. Currently, they are employed at Sonder as an Operations Intelligence Officer, starting in June 2022.

Tyler Smith attended Macquarie University from 2017 to 2020, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Security Studies.
