Jay Lazzaro has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jay began their career at Larsen Electronics in 1996, where they served as a Project Manager until 1999. Following this, they joined Momentum Group in 1999 as a Sales Manager and stayed with them until 2012. In 2013, Lazzaro became the VP Sales for Xssentials by Thul Electronics and held the position until 2014. Jay then worked as a Sales Director for Dana Innovations from 2014 to 2017. Most recently, Lazzaro has been working at Sonance since 2018, currently holding the position of Director of International Sales.

Jay Lazzaro began their education by attending Weber State University from 1993 until 1996, where they earned an Associates degree in Interpersonal Communication. Jay then proceeded to enroll at the University of Utah, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Communications from 1993 to 1997.

In addition to their formal education, Jay Lazzaro obtained a certification as a CEDIA Registered Outreach Instructor from the CEDIA Industry Relations Committee in October 2012.
