Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a robust background in developing collaborative solutions across educational and industrial applications. Currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris Nicol focuses on the development of hardware for innovative DViT (Digital Vision Touch) interactive whiteboards and related devices. Previous roles include firmware engineer at SMART Technologies, electronics contractor for Science Alberta Foundation, and electronics engineer at Grindcom, where responsibility encompassed circuit design and software development. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
