Thomas Maruschak has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology, particularly in the areas of privacy and security. Thomas started their career at ARC Communications in 2002 as a Technician TL-3 and later moved on to Safra National Bank as a Telecommunications Manager. In 2007, they joined SunGard Brass as a Telecommunications Engineer, where they were responsible for managing telecom billing, analyzing infrastructure for cost savings, and troubleshooting technical issues.
In 2008, Thomas joined Mount Sinai Health System as a Telecommunications Manager and later became a Senior Manager of Network Operations. At Mount Sinai, they handled responsibilities such as managing telecom cabling systems, conducting circuit installations, and performing system maintenance.
From 2013 to 2016, Thomas worked at NYC Health + Hospitals as an Infrastructure Technology Service Delivery Manager. In this role, they developed and implemented strategic plans for infrastructure management, maintained SLAs for network and server availability, and oversaw the administration of infrastructure projects.
Their most recent position was at SOMOS Community Care, where they worked from 2016 to 2020. Initially, they served as the Senior Director of Information Services and Security, responsible for writing policies and procedures and managing the firm's information security program. Later, they became the Privacy and Security Officer, where they reviewed regulatory information and oversaw administrative computer and network security systems.
