Matthew Roehrig has had a diverse work experience, beginning with a role as a Server at Porter's Steakhouse/Doubletree Hotel Collinsville in 2010. In 2012, they interned at Stifel Financial Corp. and then became a Computer Sales Associate at Best Buy in 2014. In 2016, they held concurrent roles as an Implementation Analyst at Allscripts and EPSi.io. Matthew then moved to American Optometric Association in 2018 as an Application Support Specialist, and they currently work at Somnoware Healthcare Systems as an Application Support Engineer.

Matthew Roehrig obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Management and Information Systems from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville between 2010 and 2016.
