Dr. Gerhard Huber serves as the CEO of SOMIC Packaging since May 2013 and is a current member of the Bundeswirtschaftssenat as of 2023. Previous leadership roles include Chairman of the Board at PEDAX GmbH from 2017 to 2020, Partner at MIT HOLDINGS GMBH from June 2010 to July 2017, and CEO of the Greiner Group - Renewable Division from 2011 to 2013. Dr. Huber also held the position of General Manager at Bombardier Transportation in 2009-2010 and Executive Director Operations at AMAG Austria Metall from 2000 to 2008. Prior entrepreneurial experience spans a decade, from 1990 to 2000, in a family business.
