Lawson Broad

Lawson Broad is currently the CEO at Somerville Community Services Incorporated. Prior to this, they held various positions in the public and private sector in Australia.

From February 2002 to August 2009, Lawson was the owner and managing director of Broad Transport Solutions Pty Ltd, a transport company based in Darwin, Australia.

In August 2009, Lawson began working for Mission Australia as their enterprise development manager. Lawson remained in this position until March 2011.

From March 2011 to August 2012, Lawson worked as an advisor for the Leader of the Opposition in the Northern Territory, Hon Terry Mills MLA.

In August 2012, Lawson became the director of regional affairs for the Chief Minister of the Northern Territory, Hon Terry Mills MLA. Lawson held this position until March 2013.

From March 2013 to March 2014, Lawson served as the chief of staff for the Minister for Education; Lands Planning and the Environment; and Housing - Hon Peter Chandler MLA.

From March 2014 to March 2016, Lawson was the director land and economic development for the Department of Lands Planning and the Environment.

From March 2016 to October 2016, Lawson was the executive director housing supply for the Department of Housing.

In October 2016, Lawson became the deputy chief of staff for Leader of the Opposition - Northern Territory - Hon Gary Higgins MLA and held this position until January 2017.

Lawson Broad attended Flinders University, where they earned a Bachelor of International Studies with a focus in public administration. Lawson also holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne. Broad completed their secondary education at St. Philip's College.
