Bharath Sudarsan is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in the fields of hardware, IoT, cloud computing, and machine learning. Currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at SomaDetect since March 2017, Bharath has successfully overseen multiple departments and implemented agile methodologies to enhance team collaboration. Previously, Bharath held the role of Director of AI, where the development and establishment of the AI team were spearheaded, along with direct involvement in hiring and performance evaluation. As a Cofounder and Lead Product Developer, Bharath showcased expertise in transforming innovative concepts into viable products. Bharath's independent consulting career includes contributions as a Machine Learning Algorithm Developer, focusing on a diverse range of projects. Earlier experience includes a role as a Computer Vision Algorithm Developer at Lizotte Machine Vision, along with research at McGill University, where Bharath completed a Master’s degree in Bioresource Engineering after earning a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Anna University Chennai.
