Douglas Carney is the Technical Lead at Soma Capital. Douglas has also worked as a Software Developer at Shimmur, an iPhone/Android Developer and Co-Founder of Tag - You're it, and a Junior Systems Administrator at Day Pitney LLP.

Carney has over eight years of experience in various technical roles. Douglas began their career as a Junior Systems Administrator at Day Pitney LLP, where they provided desktop support and performed tasks such as imaging / cloning PCs, Active Directory account creation and basic help desk support. Douglas then transitioned to Shimmur, where they worked as a Software Developer for over a year. Most recently, they worked as an iPhone/Android Developer and Co-Founder of Tag - You're it, where they helped develop and launch the Tag mobile app.

In their current role as Technical Lead at Soma Capital, Carney is responsible for leading a team of developers in building and maintaining software products. Douglas is also responsible for ensuring that products are delivered on time and meet customer expectations.
