Patrick V. has extensive work experience in the field of network engineering. Patrick began their career in 2001 at SARA as a Network Engineer, where they worked until 2002. Patrick then joined ASP4all in 2003, starting as a Network Engineer and later moving up to the position of Senior Engineer Network Infrastructure. From 2008 to 2015, they served as the Lead Engineer Network Infrastructure at ASP4all. In 2015, they joined Solvinity as the Lead Platform Engineer. Additionally, in 2003, they worked as Manschap B+ at Veiligheidsregio Utrecht.

Patrick V. attended HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) from 1997 to 2001, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

In terms of additional certifications, Patrick obtained the following: Accredited Configuration Engineer (ACE) - PAN-OS 6.0 and ACE - PAN-OS 7.0 from Palo Alto Networks in September 2015, Instructeur Brandweer from Nbbe in December 2009, Hoofdbrandwacht from Nbbe in July 2008, CCNA from Cisco in September 2007, CCNA Security from Cisco in September 2009, and CCNP Security Firewall from Cisco in May 2012.
