Christoph Lederer

Head Operations Separation & Elisa; Large Molecules & ATMP at Solvias

Christoph Lederer started their work experience in 2012 at Sandoz, where they served as an Associate Scientist from November 2012 to September 2014. Christoph then progressed to the role of Team Leader from October 2014 to December 2016, followed by the position of QC Manager from January 2017 to March 2018.

In 2018, Christoph joined Solvias as a Projektleiter, where they led several extended customer projects in the biopharmaceutical analytical support field, with a turnover responsibility of up to 10 MChF. Christoph held this position until March 2021.

Following that, Christoph became the Head of Operations BPR at Solvias from April 2021 to December 2021. In this role, they led two analytical teams focusing on Capillary Electrophoresis and played a key role in growing capacities in a bottleneck technique.

Currently, Christoph is serving as the Head Operations Separation & ELISA; Large Molecules & ATMP at Solvias since January 2022. Christoph leads five analytical teams in the field of Large Molecules and ATMPs, specifically in the areas of Separation (CE, HPLC) and ELISA techniques. Christoph has five direct reports and manages 50-60 indirect reports.

Christoph Lederer began their education at the University of Bayreuth from 2001 to 2003, where they obtained a Vordiplom in Biologie. Christoph then attended The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg from 2003 to 2008 and completed their Diplom in Biologie, allgemein. Later, they pursued further education at the University of Duisburg-Essen from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Doktor (Ph.D.) degree in Biochemie, Biophysik und Molekularbiologie.
