Jorge Rodrigues has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the finance and business sectors. Jorge started their career as a Senior Consultant at DELOITTE, where they worked on projects for major Portuguese Real Estate, telecommunications, and motorway operators. In 2006, they joined Solvay as a Record to Report Migration Leader, where they played a key role in the establishment and optimization of the company's Shared Services Center. Jorge then took on positions as Head of SSC Service Unit F&A and Finance Manager, Global Business Services Integration Manager, and Finance Projects Controller at Solvay. In these roles, they oversaw the integration of Solvay's shared services and managed M&A integration and restructuring programs. Jorge later became the Global Planning & Control Lead for the GBU Aroma Performance division, where they were responsible for financial deployment, strategic evaluation, and business partnering. In 2019, Jorge became the Global Planning & Control Lead for the GBU Soda Ash & Derivatives division. Jorge also served as a Board Member for RESOLEST from 2020 to 2022. Currently, Jorge holds leadership positions as the Finance Transformation Director at Solvay, a Board Member at Peróxidos do Brasil, and the Business Owner of Heroismo Quotidiano.
Jorge Rodrigues has a post-graduate degree in Corporate Finance from ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, which they obtained from 2005 to 2006. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate education in Business and Administration from Coimbra Business School | ISCAC, from 1998 to 2002. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in "Communicating Persuasively & Building Trust" from Stanford University in 2023 and in "Communicating for Influence" from Tuck Executive Education at Dartmouth in 2021.
