Micah Latty has had a varied and impressive work experience. Most recently, they have been a Senior Software Engineer at Solv. where they were responsible for switching the mobile app from plain React Native to the Expo framework, significantly improving the developer experience, documentation, and release process, as well as app stability. Prior to that, they were a Software Engineer at Tempus Labs, Inc. From 2017 to 2021, they were a Software Developer at Epic, where they were responsible for project planning and estimation, UX design, performance testing, and developing maintainable, scalable, well-documented client and server code. In 2016, they were a Software Development Intern at both Epic and SportsEngine, and in 2015 and 2013, they held various roles at Bethel University, including Resident Assistant, Desktop Services Student Manager, and Humanities TA.

Micah Latty completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Philosophy at Bethel University from 2012 to 2017. During their time at Bethel University, they also completed a Scholar's Semester in Oxford at the University of Oxford in 2014, studying Philosophy.
