Marshall Leggett has over 20 years of professional experience in software engineering and design. Marshall began their career in 1998 as a Senior Designer at Nickelodeon, where they designed and developed user interfaces for their online media portal. In 2000, they worked as a Design Manager at ClipShow, Inc., designing and managing the front-end development of their web-based product offering. That same year, they also worked as a Senior Designer at DoubleTwist, Inc., where they built genome and protein-sequencing software. In 2002, they were a Principle at Hightempo, and in 2003 they were a Production Manager and Senior UI Developer at DHAP Digital, where they acted as department manager for a cross-discipline interactive design and development team. From 2010 to 2016, they were a Senior Software Engineer at RPX Corporation. Marshall is currently a Software Engineer at Solv. since 2021.

Marshall Leggett attended Skidmore College from 1989 to 1993 and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art/Art Marshall'story.
