Chris Dunn has a diverse work experience in the construction industry. Chris started their career as a Project Engineer at Roel Construction Company in 2002 and moved on to become a Project Manager at Taylor Frager, where they managed various construction projects. In 2006, they joined The Garrett Group as a Construction Manager and Facility Engineering Manager, overseeing ground-up commercial projects and ensuring compliance with building codes. From 2009 to 2013, Chris worked as a Senior Estimator and Project Manager at TTP-US, specializing in electrical and general construction. Chris then joined Sygnos Inc as a Project Manager and Estimator, handling multiple job order contracts and enforcing quality control protocols. Chris joined SOLV in 2016 as a Business Manager, responsible for project management, onboarding, and contract negotiations. Chris currently serves as the Director of Business Operations - Services at SOLV Energy, where they lead various functional groups and collaborates with stakeholders on improvement initiatives and financial management.
Chris Dunn attended Purdue University from 1998 to 2002, where they earned a degree in Engineering with a specialization in Construction Engineering and Management (CEM). Prior to attending Purdue University, they completed their high school education at La Jolla Country Day School, graduating from the Regular/General High School/Secondary Diploma Program. In addition to their formal education, Chris Dunn obtained various certifications, including the EM 385-1-1 40 Hour Construction Hazard Awareness Safety Training from AGC San Diego in July 2010, the U.S.A.C.E. Construction Quality Management for Contractors certification from AGC San Diego in February 2010, and the LEED Green Associate certification from GBCI in December 2009. Although there is mention of an OSHA 30 Hour Certified certification, no further information is provided regarding the institution or the date of its acquisition.
