Gie Schollaert has a diverse work experience spanning from 1996 to 2018. From 1996 to 2001, Gie worked as an ICT-DTP informaticus at Sanoma-Magazines Belgium, providing support for content creators across various magazines. Gie also worked as an ICT publishing project leader from 2006 to 2010 at the same company. In 2010, Gie started their own company as a self-employed individual until November 2010. Gie then worked as an IT Deskundige at AG Stedelijk Onderwijs Antwerpen from December 2010 to April 2011. From September 2011 to November 2018, Gie worked as a Test Engineer at Arco Information. Lastly, since November 2018, Gie has been employed as a Test Engineer at soluz.io.

Gie Schollaert completed their undergraduate education from 1986 to 1988 at Ghent University, where they pursued a candidate degree in mathematics. Following this, from 1988 to 2001, Gie attended NARAFI, obtaining an A1 degree in photography.
