Thufail Ahmed's work experience begins in 2003 at ESSL, where they worked as a Software Engineer until 2004. Thufail then joined Erasmic in 2004 as a Software Engineer until 2005. From 2005 to 2011, they worked at Galvanon as a Lead. In 2011, they joined Valtech (India) Software Services Pvt Ltd as a Senior Software Specialist until 2014. Thufail then moved to UST Global in 2014 as a Technology Specialist until 2017. Currently, they are working at Solutions by Text as a Senior Staff Engineer, a position they have held since 2017, and since July 2022, they have taken on the additional role of Director Engineering.

Thufail Ahmed earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Science from Visvesvaraya Technological University, where they studied from 2000 to 2003.
