Joe Abeln has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Joe is currently serving as a Board Member for the MHI Young Professionals Network, where they volunteer as part of the advisory board and committee. This network aims to engage and develop future leaders in the material handling industry.

Prior to this, Joe worked as a National Account Manager for Solution Net Systems, now an Alstef Group company. In this role, they acted as a strategic partner in designing and implementing customized solutions for improved operational efficiency in material handling, logistics, and warehouse operations.

Joe also gained experience as a National Integrator Manager at Panther Industries from 2019 to 2022. Before that, they worked as an Educational Consultant at Moser Educational Services, where they stayed from 2016 to 2019.

Additionally, Joe worked as a Baseball Coach for Lightning Baseball and gained experience as a Lead Underground Pipe Field Engineer at Kiewit. Joe started their career as a Laborer at Elek Plumbing and Heating and South Whitehall Township.

Joe Abeln attended Parkland High School from 2007 to 2010. After completing high school, they enrolled in Lehigh University in 2010 and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2014. Joe continued their studies at Lehigh University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering from 2010 to 2024. In November 2021, they obtained the MHI Industry Leadership Program certification from MHI.
