Juan Manuel González Sopeña is the Chief Product and Innovation Officer and Project Manager at SOLUTE since May 2022, specializing in weather and energy forecasting services and data science. Previously, from March 2019 to April 2022, Juan Manuel served as Project Manager for the WindPearl scientific project at Trinity College Dublin, focusing on improving onshore wind energy operations in Ireland through advanced forecasting algorithms. Juan Manuel has also held positions as a Senior Project Engineer, Teaching Assistant, and PhD Student, with a research emphasis on wind power forecasting using machine learning techniques. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering from Trinity College Dublin, a Master's in Energy from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and a BSc in Physics from Universidad de Extremadura.
