Kavin Surya has worked in various roles and companies in the field of software development. In 2018, they worked as an intern IOT developer at Kilobyte Tech Solutions, where they developed software to control VLC media player controls using sensors and automated lights for an office with voice control. In 2020, they worked as a full-stack developer at IronMan Technology & Consultants, where they developed an enterprise resource planning tool for an aluminum casting company, as well as UI for a healthcare application and an application for capturing student feedback. In 2020, they also worked as a full-stack developer trainee at GUVI Geek Networks, IITM Research Park. In 2021, they worked as a backend developer at My dime systems before joining SoluLab Inc as a backend developer.

Kavin Surya completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Dr. Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology from 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, they attended VEVEAHAM BOYS HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL from 2014 to 2016, where they obtained a Higher Secondary Certificate in Bio/Maths. From 2012 to 2014, Kavin studied at Sri Lathangi Vidhya Mandir Matriculation School, earning a Secondary School Certificate. Kavin completed their High School education at Lourde Matha Convent Matric. Hr. Sec. School from 2008 to 2009. Kavin also attended Sri Lathangi Vidhya Mandir Matriculation School from 2006 to 2008 for their Middle School education and RVS Matriculation Higher Secondary School from 2004 to 2006 for their Junior School education.
