Jesús Aparicio Bellón

Senior Firmware Engineer at Soltec Trackers

Jesús Aparicio Bellón has a diverse work experience in firmware engineering and software development. Their most recent position is as a Senior Firmware Engineer at Soltec, where they are responsible for developing and maintaining firmware and hardware for solar trackers/trackers. Jesús works with C language, FreeRTOS operating system, and communication protocols such as MQTT, OpenThread, Modbus, and Spinel.

Prior to that, Jesús worked as an Embedded Software Engineer at TTTech Auto Iberia from 2020 to 2022. In this role, they integrated a proprietary safety software platform for automated driving into different ECUs and gateways in compliance with AUTOSAR standards. Jesús also worked on projects related to automated driving, vehicle dynamics, and electric drive functions.

Between 2015 and 2020, Jesús worked at Ingenico Group as a Firmware Engineer, where they analyzed specifications, developed applications in C and C++, and had knowledge of DUKPT key encryption and secure key loading.

From 2010 to 2015, Jesús was a Firmware Engineer at Valid S.A., specializing in Smart Card devices. Jesús was part of the R&D department and responsible for developing firmware that supported various applications.

Before Valid S.A., Jesús briefly worked as a Software Development Engineer at MICROELECTRONICA ESPAÑOLA SA for a few months in 2010.

In terms of education, Jesús holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering with a specialization in Telematics from UAH, where they worked on a final-year project on Evolutionary Algorithms.

Jesús also has experience as a Data Recorder at the Instituto Nacional de la Seguridad Social INSS for a short period in 2002.

Jesús Aparicio Bellón completed their undergraduate education from 2004 to 2009 at the Universidad de Alcalá. Jesús obtained a degree in Ingeniero Técnico de Telecomunicaciones with a specialization in Telemática. During their time at the university, Jesús focused on studying topics related to computers, networks, software design, and programming.
