Carlos Navarro

Proposal Regional Manager EMEA at Soltec Trackers

Carlos Navarro has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Carlos started their career as a Graduate Fellow at Hero in 2006, working in the maintenance and technical office department. In 2013, they worked at Grupo Navec as a Technical Risk Prevention Graduate Fellow, where they focused on safety inspections, training courses, and regulatory compliance.

In 2013, Carlos joined SABIC as a Scholarship Holder in the EHS department, where they gained experience in environmental health and safety practices. The following year, they worked as a Scholarship Holder at Navantia S.A in the EHS department, further expanding their knowledge in this field.

In 2014, Carlos joined Institweet SL as a Supporter, providing assistance in various areas. The same year, they began working at Soltec, initially as an Industrial Engineer in the Engineering Department. Carlos then transitioned into the role of Sales & Project Engineer AC, responsible for technical assistance and design of solar photovoltaic parks in the LATAM region.

In 2022, Carlos moved to the position of Key Account Operations at Soltec, where they continue to contribute their expertise. Overall, Carlos Navarro has accumulated a well-rounded and extensive work experience, particularly in the renewable energy sector.

Carlos Navarro has a diverse education history. In 2012, they obtained a Master degree in Occupational Health & Safety and Process Safety from the Universidad de Murcia y Politécnica de Cartagena. In the same year, they also earned a Master Catia V5 in Industrial Design from ABGAM. Earlier, in 2009 to 2010, Carlos completed a Master's Degree in Secondary Education, specializing in Baccalaureate, vocational training, and language training at UCAM Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia. Carlos began their higher education journey in 2001, earning a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena. Additionally, Carlos expanded their knowledge in design by participating in an International Design Semester at Copenhagen University College of Engineering in 2007.

Carlos has also obtained several certifications in various fields. In 2014, they completed a course on Digital Systems - Sistemas Digitales: De las puertas lógicas al procesador from Coursera. Prior to that, in 2013, they acquired knowledge in Machine Learning through another course offered by Coursera. Furthermore, Carlos achieved the First Certificate in English - FCE (B2) from the University of Cambridge in 2010.
