Yevgen Shypitsyn has a diverse and extensive work experience in the maritime industry. Yevgen started their career in 2001 with Royal Wagenborg as a 2nd Engineer, where they worked until 2003. Yevgen then moved on to Smit International, where they worked as a 2nd Engineer from 2003 to 2005. Yevgen then joined Disney Cruise Line as a 2nd Engineer from 2005 to 2006. After that, they worked at Tidewater Marine in Aberdeen, UK, starting as a 2nd Engineer from 2007 to 2007, and then served as Chief Engineer from 2008 to 2017. Currently, they are working as the Chief Engineer at Solstad Offshore ASA since 2018.

Yevgen Shypitsyn completed their education at the Odessa State Maritime Academy from 1993 to 1999, where they earned a degree in Automatization Engineering. The field of study for their degree is not specified. Further education or degrees obtained after this period are not provided.
