Oleksiy Plekhanov is an experienced marine engineer with a focus on second engineering roles. Currently working at Solstad Offshore ASA since June 2018 aboard the DSV Normand Australis and AHTS Far Statesman, Oleksiy has previously held positions with Boskalis, Tidewater Marine, and Gulf Glory Marine. Notable projects include work on the deep-water AHTS Union Manta with Wartsila 16W32 main engines, and the OSV Construct Tide II utilizing diesel-electric CAT 3512 engines. Oleksiy holds a Master’s degree in engineering from Odessa National Maritime Academy, completed in 2008.
