Gerardo's extensive experience in risk adjustment spans various roles at Anthem, Inc. and Simply Healthcare Plans, focusing on training associates, developing policies and procedures, auditing medical records, and ensuring compliance with coding guidelines to enhance revenue through Medicare lines of business. Gerardo began a medical career as Chief Resident in Pediatrics at a Military Hospital, and holds multiple medical degrees from Universidad Mariano Gálvez and professional certification from the American Academy of Professional Coders.
