Mellesa D. has worked for a variety of companies since 2005. Mellesa began their career as a Branch Supervisor/ Customer Relations Representative at Caribbean Cement Company, where they were responsible for ensuring that all reports wore appropriate PPE at all times and requested relevant Safety related signage for the branch. Mellesa then moved on to Tim Hortons in 2017, where they worked as a Customer Service Representative. In 2018, Mellesa D. joined Olympus Canada Inc. as a Customer Service & Sales Support Representative II. In this role, they were responsible for Order Entry and Order Confirmations, Pricing Issue follow-ups, EDI/GHX Order Management, Credits and Return requests, Order follow up requests, End of day Sales reporting, Pending Approval order follow-up, and providing ETA updates to customers. In 2020, Mellesa D. became the Managing Owner at Supreme Professional Services, and also worked as a Project Coordinator - Independent Contractor at Votorantim Cimentos - St Marys Cement. Currently, they are employed as an Enterprise Sales Operations Coordinator at Solink.
Mellesa D. holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration and Management from the University of Leicester, an Occupational Health and Safety certification from Seneca College, a Bachelor of Arts - BA in History/ Psychology from The University of the West Indies, Mona (2001-2004), and a Canadian Securities Institute certification in Investments and Securities (2018). Additionally, Mellesa D. has obtained a Canadian Securities Course (CSC) from the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI) in July 2018, and is currently in the process of obtaining a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
