Manu Prasanna has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Manu is currently serving as the Head of Growth at Solid, where they lead the Growth and Revenue Marketing initiatives. Prior to this, Manu was a Guest Lecturer at Product School from 2018 to 2022.

From 2019 to 2021, Manu worked at Avaamo as the Director of Product Management and Marketing/Head of Growth. During their tenure, they played a pivotal role in building their next-generation Conversational AI Platform for Enterprises and achieved significant growth, including onboarding Fortune 100 customers. Manu'sefforts also resulted in Avaamo being recognized as a leader in a fiercely competitive category by Forrester, IDC, and Gartner.

Before Avaamo, Manu was a Sr. Product Manager at VMware from 2015 to 2019. Manu managed VMware's next-generation Cloud Management Platform, which involved interviewing Fortune 100 CIOs, conceptualizing the tool, and leading a team of 125 engineers.

Prior to that, Manu held the position of Sr. Product Manager at Barracuda from 2014 to 2015. Manu also worked as a Product Manager at Entreda from 2013 to 2014, where they managed their 'Hybrid Cloud Broker' product.

In 2009, Manu co-founded Infrasign and served as the Head of Product, Co-founder, and Advisor until 2013. Manu designed a cutting-edge sensor for early and inexpensive cancer detection, developed an award-winning business plan, and secured funding from Angel investors.

Earlier in their career, Manu was a Software Engineer at KLA-Tencor from 2008 to 2013, where they developed Private Cloud software and UI/UX for their inspection tool. Manu also worked as a Software Engineer at Pranalytica from 2003 to 2008, contributing to the development of their flagship Sensor Platform, Nitorlux. In addition, they gained experience as a Software Intern at Niksun in 2002.

Manu Prasanna has pursued various educational programs and certifications throughout their career. Manu completed the Stanford Ignite program, specializing in Innovation & Entrepreneurship at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Additionally, they took part in the High Impact Leadership - Executive Education program at the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley.

In terms of higher education, Manu holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California. Prior to their master's degree, they completed their undergraduate education at the Manipal Institute of Technology, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Computer Science.
