Katya Alva Correa is the current Executive Director at Solidaridad en Marcha. Katya has been in this position since January 2008 and is responsible for the strategic and administrative development of Solidaridad en Marcha. This includes managing relationships with Peruvian and foreign donors, overseeing financial control mechanisms, fundraising systems, and strategic partnerships with public and private entities. Prior to their work with Solidaridad en Marcha, Ms. Correa worked as a private dentist from 1995-1999. During this time, they were also the director of Policlínico Parroquial Sagrado Corazón SJM. In their role as a dentist, they were responsible for marketing strategies to attract patients, providing optimal health care to private patients, and overseeing the daily operations of the clinic.

Katya Alva Correa holds a degree in Dentistry from the Universidad de San Martín de Porres, a diploma in Educational Management from the IPAE Escuela de Empresarios, a diploma in Family Counseling from the Universidad Católica San Pablo, and a course in Finance from the Universidad de Lima.

Some direct reports include Manuel Enriquez Mesones - Director of Health, Alejandro Molina Hernández - Director of Volunteering, and Lucía Maco Justo - Head of Finance.
