Luis Mario Sanchez is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in financial management and oversight across multiple international markets. Currently serving as the Finance Director for SolGold Plc in Ecuador, Luis has successfully negotiated key contracts for the Cascabel project. Previous roles include serving as Corporate Controller and Finance Director at Cobiscorp, where oversight of financial operations across diverse subsidiaries was paramount. At Sherwin Williams, Luis directed financial operations in Ecuador and Colombia, implementing ORACLE ERP systems to enhance processes. Luis’ expertise was further developed at Holcim Ecuador, where strategic business planning was a focus, and at PricewaterhouseCoopers, leading external audit processes. Luis holds a Master's degree in Finance Management and Direction from Universidad de Alcalá, among other qualifications.
