Michael Jeon is the managing partner at Solasta Ventures, a venture capital firm based in Silicon Valley. Michael has been with the company for 3 years and 7 months, and during that time they have helped to invest in a number of successful startups, including Rescale, Soul Machines, Fama io, Ridecell, Striim, Exo Imaging, and Tibit Communications.
Prior to joining Solasta Ventures, Jeon was the head of business operations for cognitive collaboration at Cisco. Michael was with Cisco for 1 year before moving to MindMeld, Inc., where they served as the COO for 3 years. MindMeld was acquired by Cisco in 2017.
Jeon has also been involved with the World Knowledge Forum as a VC panel moderator and startup competition judge. Michael has been with the Forum for 11 months.
Michael Jeon has a MBA from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a degree in Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, and a degree in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley. Michael also went to Redwood High School in the TUHSD from 1993 to 1995, and Ipswich Grammar School in 1992.
