Bea Monteagudo is a highly skilled entomologist with extensive experience in various roles within the field. Currently serving as the Team Leader in Entomology at SOLASTA Bio since June 2022, Bea is responsible for leading research initiatives. Prior experience includes a senior position at Oxitec Ltd, where Bea managed laboratory operations and conducted embryonic microinjections as part of the Strain Development Group. Bea also has a background in volunteer work at the Horniman Museum and Gardens and internships focused on silkworm research and biotechnology. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science (Hons) from Universidad de Murcia and a Post-Graduated Certificate in Applied Entomology from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia.
