Roy Friedman is a seasoned ASIC Designer with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry, currently serving as a Senior ASIC Designer at SolarEdge Technologies since October 2018. Previous roles include VLSI Engineer at Sckipio and Principal Engineer at Cadence Design Systems. Roy has also contributed to digital design projects at Samsung Semiconductor through positions at VeriSure Consulting and Veriest. With a solid foundation in ASIC design, Roy began a career in 1994 at Tadiran Telecom, followed by various design-related roles at ECI Telecom, Enavis Networks, and Siverge Networks. Roy holds a BSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
