Katharina K. is a Bioprocess Development Specialist at Solar Foods since February 2020, with prior experience as a Development Engineer at St1 Oy from December 2008 to January 2020, where responsibilities included research and development of processes for starch and lignocellulose hydrolysis and enzyme production in fungal cell factories for bioethanol production. Katharina also served as a Master's Thesis Student at the University of Oulu in 2007-2008, focusing on optimizing fed-batch fermentation processes for collagen production. Katharina holds a Master's degree in Bioprocess Engineering from Technische Universität Braunschweig and additional academic experience at Universidad de Zaragoza and University of Oulu.
