Zachary Bittner is an accomplished engineering professional with a robust background in research and development within the fields of microsystems and materials engineering. Currently serving as the R&D MOCVD Engineering Manager at SolAero by Rocket Lab since August 2017, Zachary has also held positions as Staff Scientist and Principal MOCVD Engineer during this tenure. Prior experience includes a graduate research assistantship at Rochester Institute of Technology, as well as a fellowship with the National Science Foundation's East Asia Pacific Summer Institute and an internship at NASA Glenn Research Center. Zachary Bittner holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Microsystems Engineering, a Master of Science in Materials Science & Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Microelectronic Engineering, all obtained from Rochester Institute of Technology.
