David Engelhardt has extensive experience in data science and analytics, currently serving as a Data Science Scrum Master and Agile Data Science 2.0 Evangelist at Solactive Technologies GmbH since January 2019, while also holding the position of Senior Big Data Scientist at Solactive AG since December 2016. Prior roles include Data Scientist at CONOSCOPE GmbH from November 2015 to October 2016, where expertise in data mining, predictive analytics, and machine learning was developed. David Engelhardt has a strong academic background, including a PhD candidacy at the University of Leipzig, where research focused on China-Africa trade and investment, and holds multiple degrees in global political economy and African studies from institutions such as UC Santa Barbara, University of Vienna, Leipzig University, and the University of Bayreuth.
