Karen Ratay is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in advocacy and language services. Currently serving as a Restraining Order Advocate-Bilingual at Sojourner, Karen has a strong background in training and interpretation, having held the position of Director of Training at Language Source, LLC from 2000 to 2021, where responsibilities included designing and delivering training for foreign language interpreters and providing interpretation in medical, legal, and social service contexts. Karen holds a Master of Arts in Gerontology and Long Term Care Management from Naropa University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Linguistics from the University of Colorado Boulder.
