Kunpei Kawamoto is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development, currently serving as Senior Staff and Manager in the Recycling Business Unit at Sojitz Corporation since April 2015. Responsibilities include overseeing initiatives related to lithium-ion batteries, EV infrastructure, renewables, and plastic recycling, as well as IT asset disposition. Prior roles as a Business Development Executive involved various projects such as additive manufacturing, establishing a joint venture through JAMPT Corporation, and energy and infrastructure projects. Between April 2010 and March 2015, Kunpei Kawamoto was a Counselor and Team Lead for the AIU High School Diplomats Program, facilitating a cross-cultural summer program for high school students from Japan and the United States. Academic credentials include a degree in Political Science from Waseda University and additional studies at the University of Washington.
