Sophia Tan is an accomplished Industrial Engineering Section Manager at SOITEC since August 2020, where responsibilities include translating business targets into executable operational plans and managing capacity ramp projects. Previously, as a NPW Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Sophia managed NPW inventory, forecasted costs, and led efficiency improvement projects. Earlier experience at REC involved roles as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, driving continuous improvement using lean six-sigma methodologies, and as a Manufacturing Engineer, supervising a large team to achieve production goals. An HSE Intern at Shell, Sophia focused on environmental management and safety procedures. Sophia holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Environmental Engineering from the National University of Singapore.
