Dimitra Katanou has a diverse work experience spanning various positions and responsibilities. Dimitra began their career in 2008 with a student internship at the Hellenic Organization of Telecommunications, where they focused on technologies and services. In 2012, they worked as a Junior Network Engineer at Alcatel-Lucent, specializing in Small Cells integration. Dimitra then joined Quadriga Worldwide Ltd in 2013 as a Network Engineer, providing support for networking issues across the business. Dimitra joined Sohonet in 2016 as a Network Support Engineer, responsible for provisioning, installation, and maintenance of equipment, as well as providing support to customers. Dimitra's roles in Sohonet also included Lead Support Engineer, where they managed a team and troubleshooted customer faults, and Support Manager. In their most recent position at Sohonet, they served as the Head of Support, where they developed and improved support processes and systems, built reporting tools, and controlled workflow for the support team.
Dimitra Katanou completed a degree in Computer and Communication Engineering from the University of Thessaly from 2003 to 2011. Dimitra then pursued an MSc in Networks and Security at the University of Kent from 2011 to 2012. Dimitra also holds a certification in CCNA from Cisco.
