Patiya Vanamethin has a diverse range of work experience in the hospitality industry. Patiya started their career as an HR Coordinator and Administrative Assistant at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa in 2003, eventually becoming an Assistant Human Resources Manager. Patiya then worked as the Director of Human Resources/HR Manager at Anantara Bangkok Sathorn and Oaks Bangkok Sathorn Hotel, where they managed a team of over 300 employees. Patiya later became the Chief People Officer and Corporate Secretary at JCK Hospitality PCL., overseeing HR and administration for more than 100 restaurants. Patiya then worked as a Hotel Owner Representative at JC Kevin Development Co., Ltd, managing and supporting the operations of Anantara Bangkok Sathorn Hotel. Patiya also served as the Regional Human Resources Director at Standard Asia Co., Ltd, where they aligned HR strategies and supported hotel rebranding projects. Most recently, they owned their own business in the auto parts industry before joining Soho Hospitality as the Corporate Director of Human Resources in 2023.

Patiya Vanamethin obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Management from Assumption University between 1998 and 2002. In addition, they acquired various certifications including a Diploma of HR Management from Udemy in 2023, and several executive-related certifications from LinkedIn in 2022. Patiya also completed the Company Secretary Program from the Thailand Institute of Directors in 2018.
