Raja Chitta is an experienced professional in trade finance, currently serving as the Head of Trade Finance at Sohar International since January 2021. Prior to this role, Raja was a Partner in Trade Finance & Institutional Credit at Baker Tilly from March 2019 to December 2020. Raja's extensive background includes positions at Axis Bank Ltd as Head of Trade Finance and Relationship Manager in Treasury from May 2005 to February 2019, and experience in the International Trade Finance Department at American Express Bank from August 2004 to April 2005. Raja began the career as a Foreign Exchange Manager at Karur Vysya Bank Ltd from December 2000 to July 2004. Raja holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Alluri Institute of Management Sciences, completed in 2000.
