Richard Biron is an experienced legal professional with extensive expertise in telecommunications, broadcasting, and commercial law. Currently serving as the Director and Corporate Secretary, as well as Vice President of Legal Affairs and Corporate Development at Sogetel inc. since August 2012, Richard has been responsible for supervising legal and regulatory departments, managing legal affairs, and advising on mergers and acquisitions. Richard also holds a board membership at the Independent Telecommunications Providers Association and has previously served in leadership roles at the Association des compagnies de téléphone du Québec and various independent telephone companies. Richard's legal background includes partnerships at law firms focusing on securities and transactional law, complemented by a Master’s degree in Law from Université de Montréal.
